EIT RawMaterials Hub - Regional Center Southern Italy (RCSI) was established in June 2019 by the EIT RawMaterials via the CLC-South Europe in cooperation with the ENEA - Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development.
The activities of the Hub - Regional Center Southern Italy are mainly run by the Laboratory Functional Materials and Technologies for Sustainable Applications, hosted by ENEA at Brindisi Research Center in Southern Italy, in collaboration with other expertise from ENEA.
The mission is to mobilize industrial and academic stakeholders within the Knowledge Triangle to support the local ecosystem in order to enhance the innovative potential of the Mediterranean region, mainly Southern Italy, in collaboration with existing Regional Hubs, in line with European strategies on Critical Raw Materials.
